White corundum is made from industrial alumina powder as raw material, melted at a high temperature of over 2000 degrees in an electric arc furnace and cooled. It is crushed, shaped, magnetically separated to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes. Its texture is dense, high hardness, and the particles form sharp angles. It is suitable for manufacturing ceramics, resin bonded grinding tools, as well as grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting (precision casting special corundum), and can also be used to manufacture advanced refractory materials.
